Unclaimed Money
Money that is maintained by government agencies and private businesses, and is registered to the names of individuals. Unclaimed money accumulates as a result of financial transactions that have not been completed by the owner of the funds, such as uncashed paychecks. Money, assets, and property that are unclaimed by their rightful owners can not be used by the authorities that maintain them; the money/assets are held for a duration of 20 years, and they can be claimed back by their named owner, or a relative.
